ALLERGENS POLICY

At Dan’s Deli, we take food safety seriously and want to make sure you have the information you need to make informed choices about the food you buy from us.

1. Allergen Information

We clearly label our products with all known allergens in accordance with UK Food Information Regulations. The 14 major allergens we identify are:

• Celery

• Cereals containing gluten (wheat, rye, barley, oats)

• Crustaceans

• Eggs

• Fish

• Lupin

• Milk

• Molluscs

• Mustard

• Nuts (e.g. almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts)

• Peanuts

• Sesame seeds

• Soya

• Sulphur dioxide (sulphites)

Please always check product labels and descriptions before purchase. If you are unsure, contact us directly and we’ll be happy to advise.

2. Cross-Contamination

Although we take every precaution to avoid cross-contamination, all our products are prepared and packed in environments where allergens may be present. This means we cannot guarantee that any item is completely free from traces of allergens.

If you have a severe allergy, please speak to us before ordering. Your safety is our priority.

3. Fresh Produce and Supplier Information

Some of the items we stock come directly from third-party producers or small-batch suppliers. We work closely with these partners to ensure that allergen information is accurate and up to date — but we recommend you also check any packaging provided by the manufacturer.

4. Responsibility and Care

It is your responsibility to notify us of any serious food allergies before placing your order. If you are ever in doubt, we strongly advise you not to consume a product until allergen safety has been confirmed.
